One of our prestigious clients in India who is into polymer is looking for Business Development Manager to work in their Colombo office immediately.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Lead the country operations.
- Search, hire and train a team of resources needed to run the country operations over a period of time.
- Develop the market for all the company products
- Sales Budgeting, forecasting and achieving sales targets.
- Marketing and Brand Building
- Prospecting new customers, presenting and converting them into customers.
- Managing existing customers and ensuring they stay satisfied and positive.
- Building key customer relationships.
- Ensuring accurate and updated data in CRM system.
- Ensuring a robust pipeline of business opportunities for all products.
- Maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions, competitors and using it to identify and develop unique selling propositions and differentiates.
Qualification
- Preferably Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical / Civil )
- Additional Post graduation qualification in Marketing Management will be an added advantage.
Requirements
- 12 to 15 years of Sales & marketing experience in an industry having exposure in dealing with Architects, Builders, Contractors, Consultants and Developers.
- Strong business orientation, commercially savvy and extensive hands-on experience
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Market knowledge
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Positive, strategic-minded and able to interact well with all levels
- Strong leadership skills with high level of integrity.
- Self-Starter with high level of energy and drive
- Fully competent in using MS Office suite of applications
