One of our prestigious clients who is into Government Sector is looking for Deputy General Manager to work in their Colombo office immediately.

Job Description

- Management Corporations should be established as per Condominium Management Authority Law No. 10 of 1973 and action should be initiated for the proper management of condominium properties.

- Supervision of all legal matters relating to Condominium Properties.

- Provision of all activities such as Engineering works and other relevant duties in connection with the issue of condominium certificate regarding the common elements and common amenities.

Qualifications

(a) A postgraduate degree with a first degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission together with fifteen years (15) experience in managerial level in the relevant field,

Or

(b) Five years (05) satisfactory period of service in the Condominium Management Authority as an Assistant General Manager Grade (1) (legal/regulatory/operations & maintenance) with eighteen (18) years experience in the relevant field.

Preference will be given to those who have obtained educational / professional qualification and experience in civil engineering.

Salary Scale & Basic Salary

Salary Scale: HM 1-1 Rs. 81,670 - 15x2,270 = 115,720.00 Basic Salary: Rs. 47,158.00 + Adjustment Allowance Rs. 9,078

- All allowances approved by the government and the Cost of Living allowances will be paid.

General Conditions Applicable to Post

1. Candidates should not be less than 18 years and more than 45 years of age. (The maximum age limit is not applicable to officers currently employed in the government corporations / statutory boards and internal candidates)

2. This post is permanent and non-pensionable. Contribution for the Employees' Provident Fund, the employee and the employer will respectively contribute 10% and 12% and for the Employees' Trust Fund, the employer will contribute 3%.

3. Applicants from the State corporations / Statutory Boards should forward their applications through the heads of their respective institutions.

4. Names and addresses of two non-related referees (to obtain details about the applicants) should be submitted with the applications.

5. Photocopies of the educational and other certificates with experience certificates should be annexed with the applications.

6. The applicant should have fulfilled all the qualifications as at the closing date of the applications.
