Development and implementation of the Human Resource Management Plan.
Reviewing current policies, systems and procedures of the Bank relating to key result areas of Human Resource Management and develop new strategies to achieve corporate goals of the Bank. 0 Defining & implementing policies & programs that cover Human Resource Development & Management.
Provide direction, guidance and advice to all functions relating to key result areas of Human Resource Management and General Administration.
Developing and implementing a Training master plan using modem training techniques.
Developing succession plans for senior management levels and career path planning for employees.
Handling Trade Unions, Discipline and matters pertaining to Industrial Relations.
Key Requirements & Experience
A Degree from a recognized university and / or full membership of the IPM Sri Lanka / Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development UK.
Minimum of 15 years hands on experience at managerial level in a service organization preferably with over 5000 employees, covering all key result areas of Human Resource Management, out of which 05 years in the senior management as the Head of Human Resource.
Master’s Degree from a recognized university will be an added qualification.
Excellent communication skills in English, Sinhalese and preferably Tamil, excellent analytical and presentation skills with effective interpersonal skills and the ability to counsel, nurture and develop staff are essential. Age preferably below 50 years as at the closing date of applications.
