One of our prestigious clients, who is into Healthcare, provides medical services to its client governments that require an integrated medical test solution as part of the visa application processing and bio-metric enrollment regime is looking for Center Manager to join their team immediately.

Primary Responsibility:

Responsible for both clinical/ non-clinical aspects of the day to day operations in a healthcare environment including physician offices, nursing stations, or other health care facility as applicable. The candidate will manage smooth functioning of the Centres across the country in line with the company image and meeting the goals and targets as set by the Regional Head. He/she is the key person responsible for creating a brand identity for the organisation in his country/city.

• The person will have approx.5 direct report & manage a team size of approx.60-200 employees depending upon the country and business strategy.
• He owns the P&L for all centers in his country/city and needs to keep a close eye on the budgets and expenses across all offices.

Role Specifics:

• The financial performance of the revenue cycle
• Supervision of patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing, and cash posting
• Promoting excellent customer service
• Develop, implement and maintain office policies and procedures while working closely with the corporate teams
• Enhancing people productivity
• Complete ownership of the P&L for the assigned center(s)
• Overall responsibility of business unit’s operations in the country
• Initiate and monitor performance by way of Internal audits (directed by the corporate team time-time); to improve the existing processes
• Innovating new systems for optimum Centre functions
• Responsible for developing teams skills and productivity
• Responsible for setting up new business units in the country as per the agreed expansion plan and within budgets
• Ensuring standards for Quality, Customer Service and Health & Safety are maintained

Admin Specific:

• The person will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of the organization at a country/city and to ensure that the organization has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities by focus on using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.
• Focusing on cost optimization by various ways including wastage in labs, reducing errors in reports.
• This role is also responsible for setting the guidelines for inventory management, management of government and other authorities’ services, etc. and ensure world class standards inside our facilities in terms of maintenance, cleanliness and safety.

Centre specific:

• Developing and maintaining relationship with regulatory bodies in the country
• Manage effective coordination of all divisions in the country
• Support in vendor and supplier management – SLAs, contracts and over-all governance Preparing scope to put out tenders for contractors; while working closely with the corporate team
• Participate in layout planning and ensure all requirements and high standards are met
• Work with the project team on the construction progress and identify any issues at early stages and mitigate them.
• Participate in snagging and ensuring these snags are rectified prior to signing off the handover certificate.
• Document, manage and update, if applicable, all drawings
• Plan for facilities ongoing maintenance to ensure their upkeep including Annual/Quarterly Maintenance contracts for equipments in the facility
• Handle emergencies

Sales specific:

• Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits
• Manage an efficient balance between transactional ops and value added sales functions
• To work with the corporate Services team in order to create new channels of Revenue
• Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
• Direct responsibility for country’s profitability
• Analyzing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning
• Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits
• Stock management related decision making

SALES

• Sales growth and optimization in line with projections: As agreed at the beginning of the review cycle

OM & Reporting:

• Reports to the Regional Head of Operations/COO depending upon the location/business strategy

Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements:

• Minimum graduation in any field
• Proficient in use of computers - word processing & spreadsheets etc.
• Minimum 10+ years of overall experience with at least 6-8 years in a Senior Manager position OR 6-8 years in a Healthcare/Retail Sales/Insurance organization with at least 4-6 years in a Leadership position
• Demonstrated experience and/or involvement in setting up new ventures
• Business acumen with the ability to manage transactional as well as dynamic sales teams Familiarity and/or comfort with Sales activities/targets
• Prior experience in managing Divisional (or Unit) Profit & Loss OR a Profit Centre
