Description

One of our reputed clients who is into premium commercial organization is looking for Chief Financial Officer to join immediately.

Requirement

- Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.

- Direct and recommend to the senior executive team robust strategies in order to achieve value for money and maximizing the organization’s potential to achieve its goals.

- Plan, develop and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance.

- Oversee the financial and reporting systems and budgeting processes.

- Produce credible, timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reporting and key metrics.

- Manage cash flow and ensure that revenue is maximized and costs are continuously streamlined.

- Ensure the efficient and effective use of resources.

- Oversee the operations of the Risk and Compliance Unit.

- Prepare an effective risk management plan to mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile and report the risk issues to the Board of Directors.

- Investigate findings of audits and other reports and implement recommendations.

- Manage capital expenditure requests.

- Identify areas of potential new revenue and funding sources.

- Ensure compliance with all contractual and statutory requirements.

- Maintain an interactive relationship with workforce at all levels and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

- A minimum qualification of a Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable.

- 5+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in the maritime and port management sector.

Personal Attributes

- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.

- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation..

Other Skills & Abilities

- PC proficiency is essential (Windows environment) and strong working knowledge of Dynamic Nay and Excel is preferred.

- Strong analytical, numerical and accuracy skills.
