One of our prestigious clients who is into Government Sector is looking for Curriculum Development and Deployment Expert / Institute to work in their Colombo office immediately.

Job Responsibilities

The main duty of The Curriculum Expert or Institute is to develop the courses for the subject areas related to the PCBs and alike chemicals and training of trainers to teach them to the students in the academic and technical institutes including technical colleges, vocational training institutes, schools and universities.

1. Gather the related syllabi from the all related institutes including relevant faculties of universities

2. Analyze the gaps in the syllabi related to management of above chemicals

3. Prepare proposals to improve the existing syllabi including the new subject areas for management of PCBs consulting the Project Steering Committee members and experts in the field

4. Communicate with all related institutes including Ministry of Education, Ministry of Higher Education, and Ministry of Vocational Training and to include those changes into related syllabi

5. Get the endorsement from the related institutes for the new syllabi

6. Prepare the training manuals for the training of trainers in each course on new subject matters and introduce them through workshops

7. Make an action plan for training of trainers within the given timeframe

8. Make all logistics required for conduction of training sessions for the trainers

QUALIFICATIONS

• Expert with basic degree in Science preferably Chemistry as a subject or institute having at least one expert with above qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in government sector in similar projects/activities

• Preferences will be given for individuals/institutes work for National Institute of Education
