One of our prestigious clients who is the No 1 in the telecommunication industry’s Health Care Sector is looking for Manager Product Development – Digital Health (Pvt) Ltd to work in their Colombo office immediately.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide leadership to gather market intelligence information from internal & external sources
• Analyse the gathered data/ information and identify potential trends
• Visit the healthcare industry locations, conduct surveys, study and understand the different requirements within the healthcare sector which need to be digitally enabled for convenience & enhance the quality of customer experience
• Study the solutions available in healthcare sector worldwide, conduct research on the suitable products to local market and generate product ideas
• Create long term product strategy and plan the product portfolio for Digital Health organization
• Starting from the product idea/product concept, conduct the business analysis, gather & define all business requirements related to each product, coordinate and get all requirements documented & continuously updated
• Create new product development project plans and set-up the cross functional teams for conducting the product development
• Manage the end-to-end new product development process liaising with all stakeholders like system development vendors, UXD team, Group IT, operators, healthcare partners, etc for timely developing new products and making them ready for deployment.
• Provide support for the Business Development team for deploying the new products

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Should possess a Degree in IT, Engineering or any other relevant field
• 5 year experience in Product/ IT System Development preferably in the Medical sector
• Experience in Telco industry would be an added advantage
• Strong Analytical & idea generating skills
• Good Vendor management skills, Communication & PR skills
• Project Management skills
