One of our prestigious clients who is a French Multinational Corporation is looking for experienced "Procurement Managers" to join their Jaffna team immediately.
SALARY: Rs. 300,000 - 350,000ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely acquisition of resources and services at the most cost-effective rates.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers in Sri Lanka and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms.
Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resource allocation.
Implement and oversee the use of SAP procurement procedures for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Work in conjunction with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial planning, cost analysis, and budget control in procurement.
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations.
Continually review current procurement processes for potential improvements.
Adhere to all local and international procurement regulations and protocols.
Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
Age between 25 - 50 years.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or in the related field.
Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably within an international context.
At least 5 years of experience working abroad is an added advantage.
Extensive knowledge of SAP procurement procedures is required.
Experience in the water treatment sector would be beneficial.
Familiarity with Sri Lankan markets, vendors, and local business environments.
