One of our prestigious clients’ who is a leading manufacturer and marketer of Tools and Equipment Solutions for diverse industries is looking for a Regional Sales Manager - South Asia to work in their Colombo office immediately.

SUMMARY

The person is responsible for Sales and services for the company as profit Centre head for the Region like Premium Hand Tools, Power Tools - Blue point, Equipment’s – Automotive under Car Equipment, Saws – Hacksaws/ Power saws. He has to travel frequently in SAR Countries (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives and Afghanistan).

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. MBA majoring in Marketing will be an added advantage
• Leadership skills, people management skills, distribution channel management, communication skills, analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills handling business in multicultural environment
• Experience of holding senior position over 8-10 years minimum.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategize, prioritize and monitor business growth for existing and new customers in aviation, automotive, natural resources, oil & gas and general industries.
• Develop market in each country by current reseller and manpower.
• Reaching new customer segment for all product lines.
• Expand channel partner network and develop them to become effective business partner.
• Support and guide the sales team on key account management by personal visits and periodic reviews.
• Building brand by participation in regular marketing and brand building activities.
• Channel management is must as sales are through resellers.
• Accurate and timely reporting as per company laid down norms and formats.
• Experience & exposure in handling import trade and commercial practices such as lC/TT Etc.
