One of our prestigious British clients’ who is into innovative technology, is looking for Software Engineer to work in their Colombo office immediately.

SUMMARY

Software Engineer - Enthusiastic, Dynamic Problem Solver. Looking for someone who has experience with Drupal and the ability to find common solutions to problems rather than reinventing the wheel. You would be required to work with senior technologist and designers from the company in building and delivering web solutions for their clients’.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proactive and creative problem solver with 1+ years of experience in website development
• Experience in Drupal web application development
• A good understanding of crafting intricate web pages with HTML 5, CSS and Javascript
• Experience in building responsive sites
• Good understanding of using PHP
• Good working knowledge of common design patterns in web development
• Writing elegant CSS using SASS and other frameworks
• Good communication skills and proficient in written and verbal English
• Confident, friendly and open, not afraid to ask questions when unsure
• Good problem solving skills

DESIRABLE

• WordPress theming / site building
• Adapting designs from Photoshop or Illustrator artwork files
• Experience in using version control systems such as Git
• Experience in development workflow management tools such as grunt, gulp
• Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or XP
