One of our prestigious clients who is a Non Governmental Organisation is looking for Tracing Field Officer to work in their Colombo office immediately.
Main responsibility
- Contacts families of missing with the objective to update the case and to collect information notice in areas under the responsibility of Colombo delegation.
- Assesses and contributes to the understanding of the security environment.
- Contributes to the implementation and running of specific projects/programs.
- Liaises with a wide range of contacts in the Colombo and Batticaloa AoR (area of responsible) under supervision of Senior Field Officer.
- Participates in disseminating and communicating ICRC activities in the field.
- Plans and organises field trips.
- Interprets and translates from Sinhala to English and vice-versa.
Qualifications
- GCE A/L
- 1- 2 years work experience in a similar field
- Excellent communication (written and spoken) skills in English and Sinhala. Knowledge of Tamil language is advantageous.
- Good computer skills
- Good knowledge of geographically assigned area (Western and Southern provinces)
- Female candidates are encouraged to apply

- Candidate should be willing to travel to any part of Sri Lanka.
