UX Engineers Live

- Confident, friendly and open, not afraid to ask questions when unsure

- Proactive and creative problem solver with 4+ years of experience in engineering

- A good understanding of crafting intricate web pages with Html5, Css and Javascript

- Experience with Angular JS, Backbone JS or an equivalent framework

- Knowledge of hybrid app development using Ionic, Cordova or similar frameworks

- A good understanding of service based application development

- A good working knowledge of common design patterns

- Experienced in working with cloud based development tools and environments

Desirable

- Strong experience in Drupal & Wordpress

- Good knowledge of Symfony 2, Laravel or similar frameworks

- Experience with development workflow with grunt or gulp and pre-processors such as coffeescript and SASS

- Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or XP

- 7+ years’ experience in developing and deploying Drupal / Wordpress sites, with a good understanding of the internals of both systems

Essential

- Full stack competency of at least 1 technology suite such as .Net / Java / PHP; important to be hands on with the code and development

- Some knowledge of CMS based tools

- Experience of team leadership and managing the working operations

- Ability to craft and enforce standards and practices which would enhance the capabilities and efficiency of the team

- A broad understanding of the technological landscape and the ability to choose the most appropriate technology to a requirement

- A good knowledge of software development methodology and practice (including some experience in agile based methodologies such as scrum or XP would be desirable)

- Working experience in setting up development environments with productivity enhancement workflows and continuous integration. A very good knowledge in at least one set of tools.

- A good knowledge of service based application development including a good understanding of REST

- Working experience in setting up frameworks for application deployment to production environments

- Experienced in working with cloud based development tools and environments
